New Album
Pet Shop Boys will release a brand new b-sides compilation on February 6th, 2012, on Parlophone. Entitled "Format", it celebrates the duo's prolific song-writing and recording by collecting 38 b-sides and bonus tracks originally released on singles from 1996 to 2009.
The album will be available digitally and on double-CD.
All tracks have been remastered and the CD booklet features an interview with Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe by Jon Savage (author of "England's Dreaming" and "Teenage"). Design is by Farrow.

"Format" follows on from the 1995 release, "Alternative", which collected the duo's b-sides from 1985 to 1994.
Pet Shop Boys are currently working on their 11th studio album which is due for release in early autumn next year.

This was a year in which theatre seemed to burst out of its confines. It was as if it could no longer be contained within a conventional space or genre. It moved sinuously into other forms, most particularly dance. It found new physical forms and geographical locations. We were struck by Rupert Goold's imaginative use of Commodity Quay, St Katharine Docks, for his play Decade. The environment seemed to reflect the multiple dimensions of the 9/11 catastrophe. What seemed beyond words, was not beyond theatre.

Following its sell-out success in 2011, pop legends Pet Shop Boys and maverick choreographer Javier De Frutos bring the Evening Standard Theatre Award-winning Sadler’s Wells collaboration, The Most Incredible Thing, back to the main stage.
This modern fairytale based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fable, adapted by Matthew Dunster, centres on a contest to produce ‘the most incredible thing’, with a prize of half the kingdom and marriage to the princess at stake
