Network Because their initial impact was in the 80s it would be understandable for some people to dismiss a synthesizer band as being rather dated. But the Pet Shop Boys have risen to the challenge of Brit Pop and provided some innovative and charming songs. There is a familiarity with the overall sound on this album but there is also a definite progression belonging to the present. |
